Open Well Capping

WATER PROJECT - OPEN WELL CAPPING PHILIPPINES

We are a club comprised of International members based on Mactan Island, Cebu, Philippines

makedreamsWork with us in providing the poor and destitute people of Mactan Island with many of basic human needs we
take for granted such as fresh water, health care, nutrition and education. For them such things are still
a dream that we together have the power to make them a reality.

Our small, do-able projects will inspire and give hope.

 Our Well Capping Project

Potable water has always been a problem in the small island Barangays and the municipalities of Mactan.

There are a many open wells, but water is polluted mainly due to the wells having no secure covers and proper pumps to retrieve the water.

Our well covering project will provide communities with access to unpolluted water all year round. It is a basic right of all people to have access to clean water.

Project Coordinator: Damien Dwyer
